Visit Malaga
05 July, 2020 15:07
There are a lot of places to go in Málaga, which it is likely that you won’t have time to visit all of them, but is okay you can always come back. Also some of these places will be available or not depending on the season. Here I leave you a list of my personal recommendations, and you can choose depending on what kind of tourism you would like to do:
> where to go close by?
All these recommendations are made to people that come and visit my place in Fuengirola, so it will assume that you are in the area.
>> fuengirola
Let’s start with the place where you are and places you can go in here. Fuengirola is not a big place but definitely you have things to see. Probably the most famous and and really nice place to be is enjoying the views from the Sohail castle.
If you are lucky enjoy any of the events that are done inside of it.
If you like zoo there is Biparc fuengirola.
If you are fan of historic events there is a roman spring and other historic remains in torreblanca not far away from the house.
The centre is full of shops and the Paris church in plaza la constitución, so I recommend you to go around and see what you can find there of your interest.
If you like malls there is also Miramar which you can take a direct bus from the house and will leave you in the place.
One of my favourite places is the beach walk itself, so I highly recommend you to walk down and have a walk through el "paseo maritimo" direction to "la playa del carmen", at
night or in the morning (remember the time is key, it can be really hot) and enjoy the town. And of course enjoy any of the beaches that we have in Fuengirola.
>> benalmadena
This is the neighbour next to us, is really close and here are a few places to visit, I will put the top to go. Puerto marina is a port that can take a walk, eat and enjoy the view of the houses and boats around.
Another place you can visit is El castillo de Colmenares, really nice views and the castle is worth contemplating.
The estupa de Benalmadena is a Buddhist temple at the top of the hill. Again the view is amazing
If you like animals and parks. Parque de la Paloma is a really nice to place to be, even for kids to run around and enjoy.
>> torremolinos
Torremolinos is another neighbour where you can have a walk in the centre and see a lot of shops, but I like parks, so parque de la bateria is also a really nice place to go and rent a boat.
>> mijas pueblo
Mijas is another neighbour which is really big. One of the places that I recommend you to go is the town, Mijas pueblo

Puerto Muelle Uno

Near the plaza there is the teatro cervantes. So if you like theatre and would like to enjoy it, take a look at the program where you might find something interesting.
